I’ve gotten in the habit of waiting until my notebook is almost full, then doing a mass clean out of pages I’ve already uploaded or don’t need anymore. You do have to wring all the ink out from time to time, or you get kind of a muddy finish on your pages. #Rocketbook notebook proYou wet it and wipe, and the ink comes off like magic! Pro tip: I discovered that by wiping in long strokes down the entire page, going in the same direction each time, I get a cleaner page a lot faster. For full-page erasing, a microfiber cleaning towel is included with each notebook. The Pilot Frixion eraser is little more than a nub, so it’s great for precision work but not so much for getting a clean slate from an entire page of notes. Which is good, because I scribble, sketch, and take notes A LOT. The ink flows smoothly and it’s overall really comfortable writing experience. Never having used an erasable pen before, I was pleasantly surprised to see that when I erased, the writing actually did disappear before my eyes. Whether that’s due to a partnership or because it genuinely is the only one to give quality results is anyone’s guess. They recommend using only this pen with their products. The penĮach Rocketbook comes with a Pilot Frixion erasable pen. It’s not entirely unlike getting used to using an Apple Pencil with an iPad Pro in the sense that, although the sensation was different starting out, it only took a few uses to forget there was any difference at all between my new tool and a traditional note/sketch book. It soon felt as comfortable as writing in a traditional notebook. However, as the pages held up to my scrawling, I started to write and draw with more confidence. I was sure my heavy, enthusiastic writing would leave lasting indentations if it didn’t scratch through the thing altogether.Īs a result, I wrote gingerly at first. The pages felt almost thin…maybe even flimsy. When I opened my Rocketbook for the first time, I thought, Well, that’s disappointing.
